Islamic religious education has a central role in shaping individual morals and ethics from an early age, especially at the elementary school level. At an early age, individuals are experiencing rapid moral and ethical development. They begin to learn to differentiate between good and bad, right and wrong. Islamic religious education can provide a strong foundation for the moral and ethical development of individuals at this age. Islamic religious education teaches noble moral and ethical values, such as honesty, justice, compassion and responsibility. These values are taught through various methods, such as lectures, discussions, stories and practice. At elementary school level, Islamic religious education is one of the mandatory subjects. This subject provides an opportunity for students to study Islamic moral and ethical values in more depth. This article will examine the impact of Islamic religious education on the moral and ethical development of students at the basic education level. This article will use research data that has been conducted by experts. Based on the results of research that has been conducted, Islamic religious education has a positive impact on the moral and ethical development of students at the basic education level. Islamic religious education can increase students' understanding of moral and ethical values, and can encourage students to behave in accordance with these values. The following are some of the positive impacts of Islamic religious education on the moral and ethical development of students at the basic education level, namely increasing students' understanding of moral and ethical values. Encourage students to behave in accordance with moral and ethical values. Islamic religious education is one of the important pillars in forming students' character. With quality Islamic religious education, students will have noble morals and ethics, and can become good individuals and be useful to society.
